Meet the founders making AI sustainable

Coming from an entrepreneurial family, Max is passionate about the intersection of technology and finance, particularly in big data and AI. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Groningen and an MSc in Econometrics and Operations Research from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Max's professional journey includes roles in M&A practice at KPMG and experience at two Dutch private equity firms. His diverse background equips him with unique technical expertise and financial acumen to lead GreenEye.

Berend combines a strong background in finance, data analytics, and sustainability with a drive to turn insight into impact. He holds dual Master's degrees in Financial Economics and Data Science & Analytics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Before co-founding GreenEye, Berend gained experience as an Investment Analyst at Altix Capital, Strategy Consultant at Citys Consultancy, and Energy Consultant at Regionaal Energieloket, where he advised households on improving energy efficiency and reducing consumption.
